PROFILE:
Ivan Gueron is an accomplished senior technology executive with over twenty years of experience in the areas of Software Development, Web and Digital Media technologies, Fulfillment Management Systems, Accounting, ERP and BI systems. In addition, he is one of the few technologists to have successfully constructed and maintained Infrastructure, Help Desk and Desktop Services team’s that have supported all six major motion pictures studios.

Ivan has extensive experience with Business Transformation, Business Process and Information Technology Outsourcing. He has deep industry experience in Digital Media, Media and Entertainment BI, Digital Marketing technologies, Consumer Products, World Wide Product Fulfillment and Production Accounting systems.

Since 1993, Sarita has spoken in 49 of the 50 states, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Jamaica, Canada, England, Asia, and Iceland. She was also voted a 2012 Top 5 Communication Speaker. Sarita is a former university dean of students with a Master’s Degree in Counseling, a Toastmasters Humorous Speech Contest winner and a Past President of the National Speakers Association, San Diego Chapter. Galen has 30 years experience in leading publications as a writer and editor. He is currently executive editor at InfoWorld, where he writes both the Smart User column and the Mobile Edge blog, as well as features, reviews, and opinions; edits several columnists; and manages the features content. As principal of the Zango Group, he contributes research and writes articles for the PricewaterhouseCoopers Center for Technology Innovation, has contributed articles to publications such as CIO and DailyWireless, and has both written and packaged books for John Wiley & Sons.

He has also been cofounder of The Ergo Network, editorial director of the online IT Wireless newsletter, editor of Macworld and M-Business magazines, executive editor of Upside magazine, West Coast bureau chief of Computerworld, and news editor of IEEE Software. He has cowritten more than 30 books on OS X, Windows, the iPad, and desktop publishing for John Wiley & Sons, written a book on real estate technology for Peachpit Press, and has written articles for Science Digest, PC World, Computerworld, CSO, CIO, InfoWorld, CIOUpdate.com, DailyWireless, and others on technology topics.

PROFILE:
Elizabeth Southerland is Director for Platform Services and Application Development at Allergan, a specialty pharmaceutical company based in Southern California. In this role – her 7th at Allergan in 8 years – Elizabeth establishes and operationalizes Centers of Excellence for emerging and established technology, and champions innovation with future technology. With 12+ years in both trenches, Elizabeth is a versatile veteran of the IT industry and the pharmaceutical industry, having held a multiplicity of roles spanning compliance, project, application and management, global implementation, and consulting across the full array of business verticals, and specializes in building Centers of Excellence, teams, and services.
Elizabeth holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Philosophy, and taught Philosophy at Boston College, North Shore Community College, and Rochester Institute of Technology prior to starting her career as an IT professional.
